本研究では、観察・実験活動における小学生および中学生のメタ認知の実態を明らかにし、メタ認知を育成するための指導法を考案することを目的とした。
この目的を達成するため、まず、小学生および中学生を対象に14項目からなる質問紙調査を行い、メタ認知の実態を明らかにした。次に、明らかにしたメタ認知の実態を踏まえ、メタ認知を育成するための指導法を検討した。
その結果、(1)自己統制方略の教示、(2)学習計画表の掲示、(3)問いかけの工夫、(4)フラッシュカードの活用、(5)ワークシートの工夫という5つの手法からなる指導法を考案した。
A study on the science instructional strategy to develop metacognition
The aims of this study are to reveal the actual condition of metacognition of elementary schoolchildren and junior high school students in observation / experiment activities, and to elaborate the instructional strategy to develop metacognition of elementary schoolchildren and junior high school students .
In order to achieve the aim of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted comprising 14 items for elementary schoolchildren and junior high school students . The instructional strategy was elaborated based on the result of metacognition of elementary schoolchildren and junior high school students.
The elaborated instructional strategy adopted five methods, as follows: (1) instruction of the self-control strategies, (2) bulletining the learning plan, (3) improvement of questioning techniques, (4) utilization of flash cards, (5) devising worksheets.
