本論は中国の経済発展過程についての考察分析を通じて、その全体像を探り出し、「中国型経済発展」の定義並びにその基本的な特徴―特殊性と普遍性―を提示・析出することを目的としている。
本論は国際的産業転移を中心とする世界経済発展についての理論的、実証的考察を踏まえた上で、これまで前例のない斬新な研究視角、即ち「工業化の社会的能力」という視点から、工業化過程における政府、企業、人的資本の三つの側面に着目しながら、中国の経済発展過程について比較的に全面的で且つ体系的な研究分析を行った。
そして結果として本論は、公有制と市場経済の有機的結合による可能性と有効性に基づく「中国型経済発展」を新しい発展モデルとして提示した。これは社会主義公有制と市場経済の関係についてのこれまでの否定的な議論に対する有力な「反論」ともいえる。
同時に、このモデルにおける課題とその展望について理論的・実証的分析に基づく示唆と提言を示した。

Chinese-type Economic Development
-Focusing on the social capability of industrialization-

　The purpose of this paper is to clearly present the definition and its basic characteristics of a new developing mode-Chinese Type Economic Development through the investigation and analysis of Chinese economic developing process.

　Present paper provides an overall systematic research and analysis of Chinese economic developing process on three aspects-government, enterprise and human capital from a new research angle of the social capability of industrialization, based on the theoretical and empirical investigation and analysis of world's economic development which is centered on international industrial migration.

　Through these studies and analysis, this paper illuminated the mode of Chinese　Type Economic Development results from dynamic integration of public ownership and market economy; as well as carried out theoretical and empirical exploration and prospect on this subject of new developing mode.
